Had a great day working with Michelle and her folks today! We scraped off the gypsy moth egg masses and took all the dead wood off of their white birch and cherry tree. We also elevated the cedars along the back fence, moved 3 cedars planted last year, removed one ill-fated Manitoba maple, and produced some firewood for their backyard fire pit. It was so nice to have them out there working away and helping make decisions on site. I look forward to seeing them again when we visit the next-door neighbor to prune his cedar hedge!
